Good morning!
Last night was just what I needed. Time to clean, do laundry, read mail, and run! This run was the best run I’ve had in a long time! I was a little worried about how my HUGE dinner would sit, but it was ok. Evening runs are always a nice change.
My lunch was packed last night- PB&J on wheat, baby carrots with roasted red pepper hummus and a veeerrry ripe nectarine. I also prepped my oatmeal last night. I pre-measured out the oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon into a bowl and diced a small golden delicious apple to add in this morning. I love being prepared when I wake up!
Something odd about the oats I bought. They really really need to be stirred well to get any kind of creamy consistency. The Quaker oats I usually buy are not as finicky and I will definitely be switching back as soon as these run ou. You live, you learn.
So this bowl is:
- 1/3 cup organic oats
- 2/3 cup H2O (no milk sadly)
- 1 big tsp organic brown sugar
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- A few dashes of Savory cinnamon
- 2/3 small golden delicious apple diced
- 1 Tbsp Adams organic PB
- Tiny dash of Savory PINK salt
Took a shortcut and made Starbucks Via this morning too! Made with the last tablespoon of skim organic milk and a bit of raw organic sugar.
Time for work. Hope to hit Avery and or Twisted Pine for happy hour tonight!
